She was raised in Big Bear most of her life and participated in multiple sports growing up, soccer and softball were favorites. As an adult she began rock climbing and mountain biking. In late 2012, she was introduced to Crossfit. It gave her an appreciation for her body and loved the mental strength that came with it. Constantly surrounded by encouraging and caring people made it feel like home.
Lanae took a short break from Crossfit after having her daughter in April 2015. In October 2016 Lanae became a level 1 Crossfit instructor and in October 2017 she completed her Crossfit Weightlifting course. Lanae loves helping the athletes grow and learn to appreciate what there bodies can do. Crossfit is about more than getting fit, it’s a place to have fun, relieve stress, strengthen your mind, find a new family, and change your life.
